San Francisco Video

The City (San Francisco County)

San Francisco is an international, financial, and cultural center, a dynamic global city that is rich with diversity. Grown from the ruins of the famous earthquake and fire of 1906 that devastated most of the original city, the city emerged anew with stunning architecture and a skyline that is recognizable worldwide.

Renowned for its summer fog, steep rolling hills, Victorian architecture and famed landmarks, San Francisco is a popular tourist destination to visitors from both home and abroad. They come to admire the grandeur of the Golden Gate Bridge, wander Fisherman’s Wharf, shop at Union Square, ride on a cable car or marvel at Lombard Street. But to those of us who live here, San Francisco is a city of neighborhoods, each exceptionally distinct.

From the Victorian mansions of Pacific Heights to the historic hotels of Nob Hill, from the rich Italian heritage of North Beach to the vibrant Latin culture of the Mission, San Francisco’s diverse mix of neighborhoods offers residents a unique living experience found nowhere else in the country.

San Francisco is home to more than 25 neighborhoods, each boasting its own distinctive qualities. The character of each area is a wonderful, exuberant part of the San Francisco experience. Each of these neighborhoods consists of residential districts served by a rich mixture of shops and restaurants, all linked by pedestrian friendly streets and numerous public transportation options. Be it the family-friendly feel of Noe Valley or the bustling streets of Union Square, no two neighborhoods are alike and each is worth a closer look.

This is where we work, this is where we live. We know San Francisco.
